HowTo: Integrate Guru animations and playlists into your website

Description:
Guru provides the ability to directly embed single animations or entire custom playlists directly into your website. This is an advanced feature and will require someone who both has access to the website code and a basic understanding of how to edit web pages.

Getting Ready:
Before you can start adding items to your website you will need to follow these steps:

1. Obtain a valid Serial Number by purchasing Guru.
2. Register and create an account on the howdoyouguru.com website. ( Click here to register )
   • NOTE: Your account will not be activated until you respond to the activation email, so make sure you enter the correct email address during registration.
3. Attach the domain name to your account so we can authorize it to stream our content. ( Click here to authorize domain )

Embed Single Animation:
We maintain an Animations Page containing several animations ready to be embedded onto your site. Follow the steps below to add one or more of them:

1. Login to the http://www.howdoyouguru.com/ website. You must be logged in for this to work.
2. Click on the animation you want to embed on your site. ( Click here to open Animations Page )
3. Find the 'Embed' section right below the Video player containing the animation.
4. (Optional) Set the player width you want.
5. Copy all of the text in the 'Embed Script' box.
6. Edit the web page you want to animation to appear on.
7. Paste the entire script inside the HTML code where you want the animation to appear.
8. Save the web page
9. View the web page and verify the player loads correctly.
   • Note: The movie will only play on the domain your added above, if you have a local test site it will not work.

Embed Custom Playlist:
Guru provides the ability for you to upload your custom Playlists from Guru to your howdoyouguru.com account. From there you can embed that playlist onto your site:

1. Create a custom playlist inside of Guru
2. Click the 'Playlist' | 'Upload/Email Playlist' menu.
3. Enter your howdoyouguru.com username and password.
4. Click the 'Submit' button.
5. Login to the http://www.howdoyouguru.com/ website. You must be logged in for this to work.
6. Click on the 'My Account' | 'Playlists' menu. ( Click here to access your playlists directly )
7. Click on the playlist you want to embed on your site
8. Find the 'Embed' section right below the Video player containing the animation.
9. Copy all of the text in the 'Embed' box.
10. Edit the web page you want to playlist to appear on.
11. Paste the entire script inside the HTML code where you want the playlist to appear.
12. Save the web page
13. View the web page and verify the player loads correctly.
